Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who are you?
Check out my About Me Page for a brief description of me.
Q: I have never priced web design before. What does web design usually cost?
You can go to designquote.net to see what web design typically costs. Keep in mind though that my websites are simple and cost efficient so I might not have all of the features listed on their site. You can get a general idea of what web design would cost elsewhere though.
Q: Why are you so much cheaper than other designers?
I use an online web design engine that allows me to be cost-effective.
Q: What is the online engine you use?
I use Weebly to set my sites up and maintain them.
Q: Why don't I just go to Weebly and set my site up myself?
Good question. Running a website is a daunting task. The setup of this site alone took me almost two weeks to complete and updates can take up a lot of your time. I am well-versed with the engine and already know how to do a lot of harder tasks that take a while to learn. I am also good at setting your site up to be found on search engines such as Google. In short, I help you to focus on your project while I do the labor of running your site.
Q: TWO WEEKS? Will it take you two weeks to make my site?
The amount of time it takes to complete your site depends on the amount of information that you would like on your site. This site has a lot of information, so two weeks is on the longer side, but it is completely possible for larger sites. Typical turn around on site creation is a few days if all of the material I need is provided up front.
Q: What about site hosting?
Your site will be hosted by Weebly. I will do all of the required maintenance, such as updates to the website, and contact Weebly for you if there are site problems. (on plans other than user.) This is why I said I would run the site so you can focus on your project on my About Me Page. That is also why I call it maintenance instead of hosting.
Q: What will I need to start a website?
I setup a list of things needed to start a site on my What You'll Need for Your Site Page.
